Wandering Heart

The fullness of Your grace is here with me
The richness of Your beauty’s all I see
The brightness of Your glory has arrived
In Your presence God, I’m completely satisfied

For You I sing I dance
Rejoice in this divine romance
Lift my heart and my hands
To show my love, to show my love

A deep deep flood, an Ocean flows from You
Of deep deep love, yeah it’s filling up the room
Your innocent blood, has washed my guilty life
In Your presence God I’m completely satisfied

This week has been a discouraging week for me. I feel lonely and impatient for God to put someone in my life that I can love. I am discouraged that it seems that everyone around me has someone to love except for me. It is okay to be discouraged sometimes and to ask God to help get rid of those feelings of discouragement. It is okay to ask God to fulfill His promises and to seek His timing. The song Diving Romance  by Phil Wickham is such an uplifting song. It fills me with hope and the idea that God is showing the most wonderful romance right now. I shouldn’t complain or feel sorry for myself because I have a great love surrounding me all the time. God’s timing is perfect. He will bring the man into my life when I am spiritually and mentally and physically ready for that. Right now, God is trying to surround me with love and a divine romance that I don’t need to miss out on. I need to prosper in the arms of the Lord in this moment instead of wishing for something else to come into my heart.

Lord, I pray that I seek Your presence and depend on Your timing today and everyday. Let me be overflowing with Your love and Your romance. Fill me up and satisfy me, God. Contain my wandering heart and let me seek You and You alone. I want to enjoy this divine romance and search for nothing else. Your romance is all I need.

Amen.
